CIPS ANZ Webinar - Unchaining Modern Slavery
Join CIPS QLD Committee for a webinar kindly sponsored by Informed 365 on 25 September 2020 at 12PM AEST.

Many businesses will be finalising their first Modern Slavery Statement in compliance with Australia’s Modern Slavery Act 2018 (Cth). This has proven challenging enough in normal times, but we’ve all been dealing with Covid-19. A situation that creates a greater risk of modern slavery, while businesses focus on staying afloat.

Join us to hear practitioners Renea Jaeger, NIB Group and Aaron Hills, Coles who will discuss how they have addressed the challenges of modern slavery in their supply chains, while Dr Tingting Liu, Griffith University will share findings of her research into the readiness of the construction industry in meeting obligations under the Modern Slavery Act. Now that we have reached the end of the first reporting period, this webinar is an important step in understanding challenges and developing methods for reducing the risk of modern slavery in supply chains.

The webinar will be opened by the sponsor, Informed 365 CEO, Nicholas Bernhardt and hosted and moderated by Andrew Banks.
